Procrastinator Can’t Wait to Procrastinate Without Crippling Anxiety Once Exams Are Over
DEN HAAG - With exam week coming to an end for the 2nd year
and upwards, students have taken the time to enjoy the fun activities they’ve
been putting off during exam week. However, ‘putting off’ isn’t exactly an accurate
description as students have been still performing the same fun time-consuming
activities but simply enduring the 'constant reminder that I need to study.'
We spoke to a student who didn’t want her name disclosed,
she described the plight of ‘expert procrastinators’
“Look, after a while you just learn to deal with the anxiety-ridden panic attacks that come with binge watching the entirety of the second
season of Stranger Things, when you
should be studying for Intellectual Property Law. You kind of just learn to
deal with it, it’s like you grow a thick skin, but still kind of have a mental
break down. Stranger Things was
amazing though, I’d give it a solid 9/10, character development this season was
top notch. – Anonymous female third year
student, brunette with slim stature, 1.60m in height, mole on left cheek, middle
name Alicia.
Others have been feeling un-phased by the ending of exam
week,
"There’s something about being in a 4 hour Netflix binge
watching spree, when you should totally be studying for exams. It’s like the
forbidden fruit, there’s something that makes it so much more enjoyable. Bingeing
the entirety of Gilmore Girls doesn’t
feel the same once exams are over, it’s like I’ve got all the time to do it, where’s
the thrill, the risk?" "I’m all for feeling like a rebel" Said Angela Flass the 3rd
year student who totally looks spaced out all the time.
So the real question here is, is it really worth procrastinating throughout exam season?
