Year 3 student specialized in EU law already eyeing IHL/ICL paper-three topics.
THE HAGUE – With the
release of the year three paper topics, area EU Law Specialized student, and
Call of Duty enthusiast, has already made the decision to step out of his
bounds and pick a more interesting topic in the International Humanitarian Law
/ International Criminal Law path.
“Look, no one’s going
to know if I take one of their topics, it’s a first come first served basis, I’m
not breaking any laws, I just can’t be arsed to write about EU Energy law or
some shit, if I see direct effect one more time I’m getting the fuck out” Said
Lee Harper an EU Law student.
“Decision
Making and Governance in the EU; EU Health Law, the fuck is that? Meanwhile
them IHL kids get topics like Siege and Urban Warfare now that’s some cool shit”
We
interrupted the Human Rights specialization’s weekly Yoga and meditation
meeting to ask them what they thought about Cross Specialization Snatching or
now dubbed ‘CSS’ they had this to say: “Under no circumstances would we ever
intend to cross the bounds laid down by the divine creator, Maria Lostal, nor
do we think it is an inherent right for EU students to transgress and trespass
on our cherished topics simply because they are obviously more interesting.
Such abhorrent behaviour creates discord in our mantra and may or may not lead
us to taking extreme measures of non-violent but very painful non-physical
bodily harm on EU Specialization refugees.
When asked
what these non-violent, non-physical bodily harm was. The entire Human Rights
branch of the PIL/HR specialization chanted together “This may or may not
include blocking violators on various social media outlets” Before going into a
‘baby cobra’ position.
However it is important to state the disproportionate amount of EU Law topics in comparison to other specializations, while coincidentally there are less EU Law students than any other specializations.
